Things to know before visiting Washington Island
It’s beautiful here and we hope to see you soon.
The Washington Island Ferry Line is running on schedule, please make sure you visit their website for updated ferry times:
During your ferry trip (both directions), the Ferry Line asks that you wear a mask when you are not in your vehicle, and you should stay in your vehicle as much as possible.
You are not required to wear a mask on the Island, but are encouraged to do so.
Please observe a minimum of 6 ft. social distancing wherever you are on the Island.
BUSINESSES:
• All lodging facilities are open (with exception of Findlay’s Holiday Inn, opening July 1).
• All restaurants are open, serving both at curbside and, in some cases, offering inside dining.
• Mann’s Store is open for groceries.
The Island Welcome Center and the Northport Information Center will be open beginning Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day.
Rock Island State Park is currently closed (lake water levels are currently too high for the Karfi Ferry to safely dock).
All Island parks are open (Mountain Park is open, but you may not presently climb the Tower for safety reasons).
All Island beaches are open.
SEE YOU SOON!
