Rec Center 10K Run, 5K and 2K Walk/Run
Rec Center 10K Run = 6.2 miles; 5K run and walk = 3.1 miles; 2K Fun Run and walk = 1.2 miles. Age brackets: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The timed runs begin at 10 a.m. sharp at the Rec Center. Entry fee is $30 if registered by 6/30; $35 afterwards. Fee for children 12 & under is $15. All entries receive a t-shirt. Scandinavian Dance Festival
Over 100 outstanding folk dancers, some fourth generation participants, will perform at the Jacqueline Cornell Foss Memorial Stage, located next to the Mosling Recreation Center. The performers have a wide range of ages and some are even fourth generation dancers from the same extended family. The seating holds as many as 400 attendees in a bucolic outdoor setting. Admission is $5 per adult.

Washington Island Literary Festival
The Washington Island Literary Festival is a moveable feast of writing, reading, discussion, and thought about the written word.
