Rec Center 10K Run = 6.2 miles; 5K run and walk = 3.1 miles; 2K Fun Run and walk = 1.2 miles.  Age brackets: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.   The Annual Music Festival presents a two week event with a variety of musical offerings to Washington Island. Under Artistic Director Stephen Colburn, Princicpal oboist of the Milwaukee Symphony, the ensemble of world class musicians who donate their talents, are joined by the Festival Chorus as well as guest artists to present you with an exciting summer music schedule. August 4 – Scandinavian Brunch at Bethel Church

Over 100 outstanding folk dancers, some fourth generation participants, will perform at the Jacqueline Cornell Foss Memorial Stage, located next to the Mosling Recreation Center. The performers have a wide range of ages and some are even fourth generation dancers from the same extended family. The seating holds as many as 400 attendees in a bucolic outdoor setting. Admission is $5 per adult.

The Washington Island Literary Festival is a moveable feast of writing, reading, discussion, and thought about the written word.
